Deira City Centre [Website]
It is one of Majid Al Futtaim's City Centre mall chains and was the first to open and until now, is the most popular. It is a popular shopping, entertainment and leisure complex with 2 levels. It has over 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail selling space, with over 300 shops and 6,000 free car-parking spaces. Similar to all of the City Center chains, Deira City Center houses the popular hypermaket Carrefour (previously known as Continent). It also houses an 11-screen Cinestar Cinemas, Lexus and Toyota showrooms, 11-storey office tower, Magic Planet (leisure family complex), and the Sofitel City Centre Hotel and Residence.

BurJuman Centre [Website]
One of the first major shopping malls in Dubai, which is located in Bur Dubai and is currenlty under an expansion project. Bur Juman comprises of 300 thousand sq. ft. of retail space with 190 stores of popular American and European brands, wide selection of restaurants, a food court and cafes.

Mercato Mall [Website]
This uniqually themed shopping mall is named after the Italian word for 'market' and is designed in a distinctive Renaissance architectual style, capturing Italian, French and Spanish flavours and artistic characteristics. Its comprehensive shopping and entertainment experience caters to quality-conscious residents and visitors of Dubai. It is located in the popular residential area of Jumeirah and houses a 12-screen Century Cinemas.

Wafi City Mall [Website]
It is the shopping mall portion of the the Wafi City complex and is regarded as one of the most elegant shopping complexes in Dubai, having distinct pyramid-shaped atrium roofs. It was opened in 2001 and has over 200 stores, 60 international brand retail outlets, restaurants, and two floors of covered parking. It houses a popular family entertainment center, Encounter Zone, features a roller-blading rink, virtual reality simulators, a 3D motion theatre, and crystal maze. It also has The Link, which links the mall to the Pyramids complex, and is the useful venue for various exhibitions and fashion shows.

Al Ghurair City (Al Ghurair Centre) [Website]
Built in 1981 by the Al Ghurair family as the first purpose-built shopping mall in United Arab Emirates and covers 300 thousand sq. ft. of retail space, which holds 250 stores, 350 apartments and 150 thousand sq. ft. of offices. Its shops will offer a combination of traditional and modern merchandise from Middle Eastern textile to perfumeries. Al Ghurair City has two levels and houses an 8-screen Grand Cinecity cinema.

Lamcy Plaza [Website]
It was opened in 1997 and it houses 150 retail outlets, along with a hypermarket, and a cinema (Lamcy Cinema), which covers an area of 400 thousand square feet. Some of its unique features are that it offers free valet parking, it opens at 9am daily to cater to the large number of early shoppers, and that all of its shops are members of the Air Miles rewards program.

Al Mulla Plaza
The oldest shopping mall in Dubai which is located at the first round-about separating Dubai from its neighbouring emirate, Sharjah. It has recently undergone extensive internal renovations, including the changing of window display, floor tiles, ceilings, lighting and the main entrance's automatic doors. It has a newly installed fountain which was designed along with the spirit of the 21st century, and its cafe area has been revamped with the addition of a family dining area. AlMulla Plaza has a large parking area, and has shopping promotions throughout the year.
